Ilva
Ilva was a Danish Furniture company in a similar vein to Ikea offering good quality furniture and furnishings at bargain prices.
It was in fact opening up near to Ikea Stores to attract customers visiting Ikea.
Regrettably following criminal action in March and April 2008 by criminals firing ball bearings at their huge windows ,in June 2008 they put the UK Business into administration and held a huge closing down sale.
Although the business was due to close on 22nd September it actually closed its door on the 7th of September.
Ilva was a victim of this years credit crunch and made a loss of £62 million on a turnover of £26 million worth of sales..
Please remember that all sales of ILVA goods are final and the company is now closed in the UK as the liquidator has been unable to find another buyer.
The items here are for sale by private vendors through ebay and there are some pretty good stylish bargains here.
